Our people

Working at Foraction

Two colleagues who joined when the mill opened in 2000 share what this journey has meant to them.

Víctor Niño, maestro del taller de afilado del aserradero

Foraction has been very important in my life; I have learned a lot here. I arrived in 2000 knowing nothing about sawmills and, thanks to the opportunities I was given to grow, I have moved up step by step, matured and become very responsible in my work. My years at Foraction have allowed me to achieve great things, like starting a family, building a home and owning a small plot of land to live on. It is a great company and I am very proud to be part of it.

Jorge Medina, supervisor del área de Caldera y Secado

I have spent more than half of my working life at Foraction. This company means a great deal to me: through my work I have been able to buy my house, educate my children and make my dreams come true. At Foraction I have had new experiences, taken on responsibilities and been able to leave a legacy in the people I have worked alongside. It has also given me tools, education, trips to other regions and training. The people I have met here have been special. I have always received help and been treated well, and I have always felt heard and well supported.
